What is the Hydrotherapy Pool?

The Hydrotherapy Pool is a treatment experience as opposed to a Swimming Pool and is therefore more suited to a Spa environment. Hydrotherapy uses physical water properties, such as temperature and pressure, for therapeutic purposes. Our Hydrotherapy Pool is heated to a lovely 32° and the air temperature of our wet room is balanced to match. The Hydrotherapy Pool has invigorating massage jets underneath the water level and also 2 powerful waterfall massage jets. Some of the Benefits of Hydrotherapy include, Helping muscles to relax, Helping to relieve muscular pain and reducing pressure on weight bearing. The hydrotherapy pool will rejuvenate, reinvigorate and relax your whole body.

I am pregnant what facilities are safe?

For pregnancies within the first trimester we always recommend seeking the advice of a medical professional with regards to using any of our facilities. During all stages of pregnancy we do not recommend any of our heat facilities, this includes our Sauna, Steam Room and Outdoor Hot Tubs. Our Hydrotherapy Pool is perfectly safe to use during pregnancy and most pregnant ladies find it extremely beneficial to ease aching muscles and to relive pressure on joints, our Zero Gravity Chairs are also safe during pregnancy however we recommend avoiding the ‘Zero Gravity’ position as this can make you feel slightly woozy! Our relaxation areas are also a welcome retreat.
