We welcome individual and group reservations. We are by-appointment only and all spa use and spa treatments must be pre-booked. Please note that we cannot guarantee availability. To make a booking please contact our spa reception team on 01934 751483.
Deposit & Payment
A 50% Non-Refundable deposit is required with all reservations. The final balance is due upon Check Out of the Spa. Spa Day Reservations on a Saturday or Sunday require the Full Reservation Balance to be settled 48 Hours prior to the reservation date.
Please allow 48 hours for a cancellation or rescheduling to avoid a fee of 100% of your service. Reservations booked within the 48 hours cancellation period will incur a fee of 100% of your service. Failure to arrive for your reservation will result in the full reservation balance being due. If a gift voucher has been used to secure a booking, the value will be adjusted in accordance with the reservation fee. Spa Day Reservations on a Saturday or Sunday require the Full Reservation Balance to be settled 48 Hours prior to the reservation date, once this balance is settled the reservation is Non-Refundable.
Gift Vouchers are available from Spa Reception or online*. Gift Vouchers are valid for 6 months. Gift Vouchers cannot be extended past the date stated on the voucher.
Guests are required to complete a medical questionnaire, so please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your treatment. Skin patch testing 24 hours prior to a treatment may be required and is advisable for sensitive and reactive skins.
The Treatment time listed includes time for a Consultation with your therapist, aftercare advice and relaxation time.
Please note that as a courtesy to all of our clients a prompt appointment schedule is adhered to, late appointments may not be honoured and no discount or refund given. Treatments that start late will still finish at the appointed time, so other guests are not inconvenienced.
Some medical conditions prohibit us from providing treatments or may require the treatment to be adapted. If you are in any doubt or would like to discuss, please contact us prior to your visit.
A full consultation will be held with your therapist prior to your treatment in which all medical conditions will be discussed, if this highlights any medical conditions, medications, injuries or special requirements that were not discussed at the time of booking, this could possibly lead to the treatment having to be amended or cancelled.
The Spa and Gym are available to guests aged 16 years and over only.
All body and facial therapies are contraindicated during the first trimester of pregnancy. Some of our spa facilities are unsuitable during pregnancy, if you are in any doubt or would like to discuss, please contact us prior to your visit.
Food & Drink
No food or drinks are allowed to be brought in and consumed on the premises.
Spa access is available from 3:00pm – 9:00pm Monday to Friday and from 12:00pm – 6:00pm on Saturday and Sunday, on your day of Check In. Please contact the Spa in advance to book your inclusive Spa access. Availability cannot be guaranteed if a reservation has not been made or for reservations made at late notice. Spa access is not available on the day of Check Out. Hotel Guests are provided with a complimentary towel from the Spa. A charge of £3.00 applies to hire a Spa Robe Pack which includes the hire of a Robe and Towel along with complimentary pair of Rookery Retreat & Spa Slippers to take home.
Extend your Spa access with our Time to Spa Day which includes Spa Use from 9:00am, a Complimentary Robe pack which will include hire of a Robe and Towel along with a complimentary pair of Rookery Retreat & Spa Slippers to take home and a Complimentary Soft Drink for Only £20 Per Person (Usually £30 Per Person). This Spa Package can be added onto your Check In Day to extend your Spa access or booked for your Check out day to add some extra relaxation or even both for total tranquillity! Please note if you wish to add our Time to Spa Day onto your stay this must be Pre-Booked and is subject to availability.
The Spa is a place of tranquillity and relaxation, we politely request that the ambience of the spa is respected whilst using the facilities, with this in mind we request that all mobile phones must be switched of and are not permitted to be used in the spa.
Clothing & Jewellery
Spa Day Guests and Spa Break Guests will receive a Complimentary Robe pack which will include hire of a Robe and Towel along with a complimentary pair of Rookery Retreat & Spa Slippers to take home.
Bathing costumes must be worn in the Relaxation Areas, Hot Rock Sauna, Outdoor Hot Tubs and Hydrotherapy Pool.
Rookery Retreat & Spa accept no Liability and cannot be held Responsible for Lost or Damaged items.
